In addition to the monetary fee to compete, each team must donate 6 canned food items as part of their entry. We will also be working on having the Island Harvest truck on hand to accept donations of prepared foods for those competitors who are able to donate a cooked brisket or other item. <br /><br />In 2007 the competitors donated hundreds of pounds of food to Island Harvest during the event, which was held one month prior to Thanksgiving.
